My Not So Little Baby Boy’s 8 Month Update!

Hello everyone!

So last week my not so little baby boy turned 8 months! How is time flying so fast?!

We celebrated with a grape “cupcake” 😉 given its his favourite food right now! Here’s a quick update on how he’s getting on 🙂

  • Arjun is desperately trying to crawl – he’s definitely mastered the press up stage!IMG_1736
  • Been on his second holiday to Dubai (Dubai Post)
  • Now has two little bottom tooth pegs
  • Attended his first baby shower! (baby shower pics)
  • Sometimes takes his bib off to tell us when he’s full
  • Loves grapes
  • Has started sitting with his feet crossed over
  • He’s become more independent – he hates being fed and prefers to feed himself
  • Now trying to communicate with us more – tells us when he’s hungry by leading us to food if possible!
  • Now likes drinking water
  • Has grown a cute set of curly locks that are super difficult for me to control! IMG_2565
  • He can now sit up from lying down
  • He has a bath without his bath support now (finally!)
  • He tries to stand in the bath
  • Lots of babble
  • He’s now in 9-12 month clothing (depending on brand!)
  • His favourite bath toy is his beloved turtle
  • His favourite book is “The First Step” by Mighty Khalsa (review on the book here)
  • His favourite “toy” is the remote control and mummy’s laptop!
  • He now tries to imitate more
  • We are now on 2 bottles a day and 4 meals (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner)
  • Some of the new foods Arjun has tried this month include (a lot of them in Dubai! – Our Trip to Dubai)111
    • Paratha
    • Carrot juice
    • Orange juice
    • Apple juice
    • Sweet corn
    • Melon
    • Cheese quesadilla
    • Naan
    • Bread rolls (usually standard bread)
    • Breakfast potatoes
    • Arabic bread
    • Freshly made hummus
    • Crepes
    • Cottage cheese pancake
    • Olives
    • Naan
    • Dragon fruit
